All started about 15 years ago when a heating technician was performing routine service calls and was having an exceedingly difficult time finding replacement parts...

The final straw came when Barbara awoke to find that she was suddenly without heat and frantically called a technician. The tech arrived and soon realized the issue was a worn out ignitor. He did not have a replacement ignitor on his truck and could not move forward without one.

He returned home unsuccessful, leaving Barbara in the cold. The next morning, the technician made a trip to the local heating supply store to talk with Jim the associate. Jim could not find the exact ignitor in his warehouse and needed to call the factory. He was unable to help the technician, which left Barbara still without heat. Jim waited for the factory to open and then was transferred to three different people within the company until one was finally able to give him the correct part number. He returned back to the technician telling him that he found out the part # but that it was unfortunately out of stock. The tech thinks of Barbara who will continue to be without heat in the 18 degree F (-7 degree C) winter weather for another dark and dreary 48 hours, despite the tech's best efforts.
